Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser. Related technologies — localStorage and sessionStorage — work the same way: they let a site remember something between page loads. Stoop uses both sparingly.

Strictly necessary. An authentication token stored by our sign-in provider so you stay logged in and can reach your dashboard, listings, and messages. Without it you would have to sign in on every page.

Functional preferences. Small values such as your last ZIP code search or an in-progress listing draft, so the site behaves the way you left it. These stay in your browser.

Security. Short-lived values used to protect sign-in and form submissions against abuse.

• No third-party advertising cookies.
• No retargeting or conversion pixels.
• No cross-site behavioral profiling, and no sale or sharing of browsing data.

Because we do not track you across sites, there is nothing for a Global Privacy Control or "Do Not Track" signal to opt out of.

Our hosting, authentication, and image storage providers may set cookies strictly to deliver those functions. If you sign in with Google, Google sets its own cookies under its privacy policy. If you follow a cross-post link to Craigslist, Nextdoor, OfferUp, or Facebook Marketplace, that site's cookie practices apply, not ours.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and clear site data for Stoop at any time. Blocking essential cookies will prevent signing in, saving a draft, or reading your messages. Because we use no advertising or analytics cookies, we do not display a consent banner.
